Super Saturday LA

Objective:

Ovarian Cancer Research Fund's most successful and highest fundraiser is Super Saturday Hamptons and was hired to bring the event to the west coast. We were in charge of every aspect of the event included all press, celebrity, guest invites, ticket sales, bringing on sponsorships, brand participation. Ultimately, raising money for the fund and to bring awareness to the horrible disease.

 

Execution:

We started by securing major brand sponsorships and garage sale participants to help fund the event. Then partner with a production company to bring out idea to life. Separate into teams media team, brand team, and celebrities/influencer team all inviting guests and getting the word out. Each team was responsibly for their own deliverables. Media team secured the pre-post event coverage, media guests, red carpet, press line and ticket sales. The brand team was in charge of the execution of all brand obligations and details. The celebrity and influencer team was responsible for all talent invites and duties.

 

Results:

Two very successful years of bringing this iconic event to Los Angeles. Not only is it one of the highly anticipated events of the start of summer but it raised over $600,000 in the first year and over $650,000 in the second year! All Los Angeles based media covered from KTLA, Good Day LA to KIIS FM, LA Times to The Hollywood Reporter. It was also recognized by National broadcast, print and online media outlets. The events were well attended with over 2,500 people - celebrities, influencers, media, representatives, brand owners, and more! It was such a success we are bringing it to Las Vegas! 

 

Celebrity hosts included Rachel Zoe & Rodger Berman and Molly Sims & Scott Stuber and families. Guests include Ashley Greene, Camille Grammer and daughter, Jaime King & family, Jiff the Pom, Odette & Dave Annable, Alli Simpson, Christina Milan & daughter, Jenna Ushkwoitz and dog Bear, Becca Tobin, Maria Menounos, Lisa Rinna, Curtis Stone & Lindsay Price, Patti Stanger, Gayle King, Leiv Schrieber and kids, Giuliana & Bill Rancic, Tiffani Thiessen & family, Janel Parrish, Joe Zee, Francesca Capaldi, G. Hannelius and more.

 

Brand participation included JC Penney, Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian & The Palazzo, FIJI Water, Matrix hair care, Alex & Ani, Mary Kay, Chrysler, Hasbro, Soundwall, Pussy & Pooch, Cake Mix, Sprinkles, L'Oreal, QVC, Halo, LA Lakers, Claire's, Royce's Arcade, Rainbow Loom, Just Dance, It's Sugar, Lifeway, PopChips.

 

Garage sale participants like Trina Turk, Rachel Zoe, Show Me Your Mumu, Kenneth Cole, Haute Hippie, Diesel, James Perse, SoulCycle, Kitson, DASH, FitBit, Michael Stars, Skull Candy, Tommy Hilfiger, Black Halo, LeSportsac, Lucky Brand and more.
